2010 Meetings

Oyster Roast scheduled for February 4 at the Warnell Farm in Groveland, GA. The cost will be $10/person with first oysters coming off around 6:30 PM.

Sporting clays shooting tournament fundraiser in Spring to benefit a trust for the family of the late Rick Simonin, who lost his battle to cancer on December 29.

2009 News

Fundraiser for Rick Simonin: Sporting Clays Tournament on October 29 at Scarborough Bluff Plantation in Scarboro, GA
Rick Simonin, a longtime forester in the Savannah area, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. This fundraiser has been coordinated to provide funds for Rick's medical expenses. A bank account (the Rick Simonin Fund) has been set up at Citizens Bank of Effingham if you feel compelled to contribute directly to the account.

Sporting Clays Tournament Details

• 4-man teams at $400/team
• Tournament to begin at 9:00am
• Lunch served from 11:00am-1:00pm (shooters free; $10 for others)
• Station sponsorships available at $100
• Silent auction and shotgun raffle being held
